Frequently Asked Questions

  • A doctor’s referral can be helpful for occupational therapy services, but it doesn’t have to be a roadblock. I recommend starting by completing the Midlife Health & Symptoms Tracker Quiz. Once you submit it, I’ll follow up with you personally to review your results and discuss the next best steps for your care. If a referral is needed, I’m happy to provide a script to help you ask your provider.

  • I’m a private-pay provider and don’t bill insurance directly, but I want to make payment as simple as possible for you. Sessions are paid at the time of service, and I accept credit card, check, cash, or HSA/FSA. I’m also happy to provide a superbill so you can submit it to your insurance if you’d like.

  • Sessions are offered in a private, comfortable studio in Lake City, MN, at my home studio, or virtually when appropriate. Together, we’ll determine the location that works best for your needs and comfort.

  • After a brief clarity call and deciding to schedule time together, you’ll complete intake forms that give a full picture of the challenges you’re facing. At the first session, we’ll talk openly about the hard stuff, identify what feels most difficult, and set meaningful goals together. Our focus is on building trust and creating a safe space so we can make changes that truly fit your life.

  • I work with women and men experiencing challenges like leakage, constipation, prolapse, discomfort with intimacy, hormonal changes, or everyday pelvic discomfort.

  • Pelvic well-being is just one part of your overall health. I take a holistic approach, looking at your routines, movement, stress, and daily habits, so we can improve comfort, confidence, and quality of life—not just symptoms.
