About Me

I support women and families in moving from symptom management and behavior-focused approaches (including obedience-based parenting) toward identity, wisdom, and lasting change—through pelvic health and parenting support. You may come with interest in one area or both, and together we focus on practical, meaningful change that fits your season.

My philosophy is simple: life is about transformation. Not just a one-time change, but an active, ongoing renewal of mind and body. I believe we don’t have to conform to the pressures and expectations around us. Instead, we can choose to create space for growth, freedom, and clarity.

I see each person as having untapped potential already inside them. My role is to walk alongside you, helping uncover that potential so you can live with more confidence, peace and joy.

ABOUT ME

Meet Kelly

Hi, I'm Kelly Amundson, MS, OTR/L, a Level 1 Functional Pelvic Health Practitioner, Certified Connected Families Parent Coach, wife, and mother of three.

For more than 20 years, I've been helping people build awareness, develop sustainable habits, and create meaningful change in their daily lives. My professional experience includes acute care, rehabilitation, chronic pain management, and adolescent and adult mental health. I spent 15 years at Mayo Clinic, where I gained extensive experience supporting individuals through physical, emotional, and life transitions.

Today, through Better Together OT, I combine my clinical expertise with a whole-person approach that recognizes the connection between body, mind, relationships, and daily routines. My private practice, established in 2024, focuses on pelvic health, midlife wellness, and parent coaching.

I support women and families in moving from symptom management and behavior-focused solutions toward identity, wisdom, connection, and lasting change. Whether you're seeking support for bladder and bowel concerns, pelvic floor dysfunction, postpartum recovery, midlife transitions, or parenting challenges, my goal is to help you better understand what you're experiencing and create practical strategies that fit your real life.

As a pelvic health practitioner, I blend body awareness, movement, habit formation, nervous system support, and education to help women build confidence and trust in their bodies. Rather than simply treating symptoms, I focus on identifying patterns, improving function, and creating sustainable routines that support long-term health and well-being.

In 2026, I became a Certified Connected Families Parent Coach, expanding my passion for helping families thrive. My parent coaching is informed by the Connected Families Framework, which thoughtfully weaves together biblical truth, attachment and trauma research, and child development science. Rather than focusing solely on managing behavior, we focus on building wisdom, strengthening relationships, and creating lasting transformation within the family.

At the heart of all my work is a belief that growth happens when people feel safe, understood, and empowered. Whether I'm working with a woman navigating a midlife transition or a parent seeking greater connection with their child, my hope is the same: to help people move from frustration and stagnation toward clarity, confidence, connection, and transformation.

If you're ready to feel more at home in your body, more connected in your relationships, and more confident in your next steps, I'd be honored to walk alongside you.

My Approach

I believe true healing means looking at the whole person -not just one symptom or problem. I take time to understand your routines, your energy, your relationships, your mindset, and your body. I am especially passionate about mental health promotion, because I know how closely our physical well being is tied to how we think, feel, and connect with others.

My goal is not to “fix” you, but to create a safe space where you can reconnect, restore, and expand into the life you’re meant to live.
